How to collect blog material
Post ideas show up while you watch a video, read an article or go for a walk. Pin each one to pinaMemo as it comes, then open one folder at the weekend and turn it into a draft. Whatever you publish with — WordPress, Naver Blog, Tistory — the last step is a single Export.
Step 1. Pin material as it appears
- Videos and articles — paste the address into Add web page, or click the "Save to pinaMemo" bookmark button once. A card with the page title appears; edit the title to something useful such as "use the casting tip at 00:12".
- Sentences that pop into your head — click Add note and write one line or ten. There is no title/body split to think about.
- Folders on your PC — right-click a note → Add link and enter a path like
D:\blog\photosto open it from the note (Windows helper required).
Step 2. One post = one folder
Drag-select related notes, right-click → Create folder, and name the folder after the working title ("3 beginner surf-casting rigs"). The folder bar then doubles as your editorial calendar. Drag folder names to reorder them, and right-click to give each a colour — yellow for "publish this week", sky blue for "needs more sources".
Need one source in two posts? Right-click the note → Duplicate note, then move the copy to the other folder.
Step 3. Find the order
Open the folder and drag notes into the order of the post. With the magnet on, notes snap into rows, so "intro → point 1 → point 2 → wrap-up" is easy to lay out. If the order you collected them in is the order you want, click Sort by created. Hover the small date in each note's corner to see when it was written.
Step 4. Export as Markdown
- With the folder open, click Export.
- Choose Markdown (.md). The preview shows the folder name as a heading, notes as a numbered list, and link cards as a bold title + address + one-line note.
- Copy into your editor or Download file to get a
.mdfile. For editors without Markdown, pick Plain text (.txt).
Export follows the on-screen order (top-left to bottom-right), so the arrangement from step 3 becomes your outline. Nothing is sent to a server — the conversion happens in your browser.
Step 5. Tidy up after publishing
Delete folder returns its notes to All notes; keep the ones you will reuse and delete the rest. Click Save notes to keep the whole board as a JSON file you can reopen months later.
Tips
- Ctrl+F Find note searches every folder at once and jumps to the match.
- A board holds up to 400 notes; keep one JSON file for blog material and another for shopping to stay fast.
- The browser backs the board up automatically, but not in private windows — save important material to a file too.
